Project PIrate (Promoting Parent-Child Interaction with Video Feedback)

The PIRATE project is led by Chantal Cyr, in collaboration with Karine Dubois-Comtois, Annie Stipanicic and Eve-Line Bussières.

We invite you and your child to participate in a research project on relational intervention, aimed at fostering parent-child communication and child development.

Our goal is to:

– Better understand your child and promote their development. Help you with your parenting role.

– Advancing knowledge about children with communication or developmental difficulties

– Support educational practices and services clinics deployed with families.

Financial compensation

To thank you for your participation, we will give you at the end of the project by mail an amount of $25 and a $25 gift certificate for your child.

FOR WHO ?

  • Parents and children aged between 1 and 5 years old
  • Child with a diagnosis of 

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Families who have already received services or are waiting services at their clinic
